Type of a scam Online Purchase
I contacted this person on a FB group Huskies for adoption. His page is called House of Huskies. He said he needed $400 to hold the puppy and it was the last one. HE got the deposit via CashApp and provided an address he said was his residence. He then said when I was getting ready to pickup he needed another $200 and $100 would be refunded and it was needed for paperwork and vet papers. I refused and after some back and forth I said I dont need the puppy and to refund my deposit of $400. He said ok and he would send a google business verification card and this was the only way. I kept asking for a different way of refund like PayPal and he said this was the only way. He got my name, address and email and said to look out for the postcard and then let him know. A couple of days later I got a postcard from Google. IN the meantime he asked if I had gottten the postcard. I said yes so he wanted the verification code. I said why and he said that way he could refund the money. Once I gave him the verification code he closed the chat and I could not contact him again. I went back to his facebook page and messaged him but no response. Now I am worried if he will use my address to do some other nefarious stuff. I have submitted a request to google, I emailed facebook help support to shut down the page and reported the account but so far no response. Meanwhile this guy is continuing to post pictures on his facebook page and continue to draw in unsuspecting people.
