they called me for a payday loan supposedly taken out in 2013…they threatened me saying I will have to go to court and pay over $2,000 for a $300 loan that i allegedly took out. When you call any of the numbers they give you or you can Google them, it says this number is not allocated…scam
This company called me and stated that they were collecting a debt and they tried to immediately pressure me into making a payment on a bill that I did not remember that I had and If I did I wanted to research it out before I gave them money as I did not know if they were legit or not. They continued to threaten me to say that I did not want to voluntarily take care of it and that they were going to send it to court and get a judgement. I stayed persistent and asked what was the name of the company and I wanted to do some research before I paid them any money because I know there are scammers out there. I called the actual company that I had made payment arrangements with and asked them did they hire a 3rd party company and they assured me that they did not and that they have me on record making my payments to them per our arrangement. They stated that they thought the company was a scam as I had no other outstanding previous debts and the debt that I had with them was still with them and in good standing per our arrangements. So this company will try to threaten you with court judgments and garnishments and pressure you to pay and then have you sign an agreement to pay for a settled amount. DON’T FALL FOR IT. DON’T PAY THEM ANY MONEY! CONTACT YOUR ACTUAL ORIGINAL DEBTOR AND BYPASS THEM TO RESEARCH IT OUT FIRST.
