Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was contacted by an Adam Jonas about a work from home opportunity as a healthcare manager. I had not applied for the job and it was offered to me through email with a name and address verification. I did notice some English language discrepancies but the "recruiter" said the company was in Germany and that they were opening an office in the area. I found a copy of the exact same email that was sent to me on the ScamPulse.com website and realized it was a scam. I did give my name and address, but no additional personal information. I thought the job description sounded fishy when it read that "customers" would be sending checks to my address in my name and that I would be sending money to the business through moneygram and Bitcoin–which alerted me right away that I was probably dealing with a scammer.
