Type of a scam Employment
I recently applied for two jobs online. The first one is by the name of Heremed limited and the other is United health group. During the conversation of the employment heramed limited asked me to provide information by completing a direct deposit, w-4, I-9, and a job letter, they said that they were going to send a check to purchase the equipment the following day they said that FedEx having trouble delivering the check to my address and for two days they have been saying the same thing and then they send a copy of the check via PDF which wont be able to work and eventually they stop text, I tried calling but the call wont go through we communicate via telegram. The other company did not send a w-4 nor a I-9 but instead a job letter implied that I should pay for tax on my own and two days after they send a check that I should purchase the equipment I deposited the check has been placed on hold and later on they asked for $500 to purchase a time tracker so I said it makes no sense if you send a check to purchase the equipment and later asked to deduct $500 to purchase it so I said I dont have it. Having provided both report I am wondering if I have deposited a fake check and what will happened and also I have given out my personal information including my social security number, my passport number, my full name and address and also my banking information. I screenshot the messages of both parties.
