Type of a scam Online Purchase
It was a craigs list offer to buy a speed bike for incredibly low price. The seller stated they were in the military and deployed to another state and the bike was being sold because it brought bad memories from their boyfriend. They switched and said they were doing a ebay insurance protection to sell the bike, but I had to buy green dot cards and not register them and show no one the invoice for my protection. They asked for my address and first and last name and phone number. They also wanted me to call a phone number to inform them I bought the cards and give them the numbers, expiration, and cvv codes. This would insure a safe transaction of my product that I would receive after 2 days of confirmation and I would get 7 days to inspect the product. The email looked legit from ebay.
