Type of a scam Online Purchase
I saw Heaven’s Sphynx Cattery’s ad for hairless cats on GOOGLE and contacted them as I was interested. After several conversations via phone and text, I sent them $700 through Zelle. When they rec’d the funds, they said they would deliver the feline to the shipper and the shipper would contact me. The shipper contacted me and said that they needed an additional $500 to ship the cat in a thermo crate. They said they would ship the cat after they rec’d the funds through Zelle. Fortunately, Zelle only allowed one $500 payment that day. When the shipper told me this, they said to go to Walmart and purchase and send the funds in gift cards. RED FLAG!!! I went back to the breeders site, HEAVEN’S SPHYNX CATTERY, and noticed a few more RED FLAGS: there was no physical address, HEAVEN’S SPHYNX CATTERY is not listed on TICA as they claim, they are not listed on FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, or TWITTER as they claim. I was scammed out of my money. Don’t fall for their scam!!!!
