Type of a scam Charity
Our nonprofit organization received an email from a "Paul Harrison" claiming he was the CEO of a small family foundation named "Harrison Family Foundation" wanting to know more about the work that we do with kids. I gave him an overview of our programs and then I received a second email saying that this foundation wanted to give us $2,000 in grants and another $3,000 that we were suppose to give to another organization in Kenya. This foundation is question has no 990 forms, is not on Charity Navigator, and has no Tax ID documents. On their website they have a google map that shows their office is in the New York Capital Building, but if you google their actual address its in a shop that looks abandoned. This is a scam!!!!
