Type of a scam Employment
I was looking for job since I was recently laid off. They contacted me through text and email via LinkedIn for a logistics manager position, working from home. Logistics and is exactly what I do for a living so it sounded good, too good to be true. I researched their website, it was a real website. I looked them up on ScamPulse.com and there was no bad remarks on them. They have a license to operate in Canada, no site was reporting these people as a scam, so here I am reporting them first.
They sent me an application form for hire and a direct deport form to fill out. Then after, had to take an IQ test (that was dumb as ***), then came the pitch. They want to deposit money directly into my account, then immediately go to a Bitcoin ATM and buy the bitcoins and send it to them.
Everything seemed legit until…. the very first task.
