Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was hired as a personal assistant to the CEO of Halter AG. They sent me a cashier’s check to my house yesterday and told to deposit it. Today I was told to send the partial money of the check. The lady from MoneyGram told me that it could be a fraud so I contacted my bank and as I thought it was a scam, the check is fake.
