I applied for a loan got a call back and they approved the loan for 16000 dollers went over loan agreement signed it gave them all verification documents route number then they said I needed to go to store get them a prepaid card send them proof that I got it and they would send me the loan after that stopped my bank account.

I was online looking for financial services options due to loss of income & being unable to pay rent & other bills. I applied for a personal loan which said my credit wouldn’t be run. I gave my personal information out, name, DOB, SS#, bank info etc. Once everything was supposedly approved, the person I was speaking with said I need to prove I’m capable of making the monthly payment & need to go purchase a card at the store in the amount my monthly payments are going to be, even though the 1st payment was supposedly not due until Dec. 30. He said I just have to send in a copy of the receipt for the card purchased but not have to share the card info. I told him I wasn’t going to do it & to cancel my info out of their system immediately. I informed him I’d be reporting them to BBB.
