Type of a scam Employment
Was contacted via LinkedIn by a man named Gregory Jones in Denver, CO about a Virtual Assistant position. I sent him my resume thinking it was legit. His profile indicated he worked for Nutrislice, which had a website and seemed to be a real company. I also called and was able to get his voicemail but never heard back from him. The profile disappeared the next day. I was offered a position without an interview for $400 per week for 5-7 hours of work. I think someone else reported on here an identical offer. I asked him for a return phone call and instead got an oddly worded email back that said they would start by sending me a check for $2950 for a printer and "licensed application software". That’s when I knew it was a scam and reported it.
