A friend of mine contacted me via Messenger claiming to have received $50,000 in a grant from the NIH. She gave me the contact information for Agent Greg Davis. When I contacted him via Messenger, he gave me the general information on the NIH and the amount of money they award every year. What made me think twice was his request for my personal information. I did not fill it out, but I’m sure others are. This concerns me as people can be misled to believe the NIH gives grants to individuals without going thru the grant process. I hope this can be investigated.

Personally I knew this scam was too good to be true. I refused any information and didn’t fall for their link. The scammer can’t even spell correctly which is an even bigger red flag. They wanted my password and checking account information. I didn’t send them anything.
