A lady posted on Facebook claiming the company she worked for was hiring. I messaged her and she said I needed to do an interview. Then she directed me to use Google Hangouts app and to send my interview confirmation to the email. That was my first red flag. Then the person on the other end of that was claiming to be Peter Horvath the CEO of Green growth brands. That was another red flag. I’ve never heard of a CEO that actively texts people on an app acting as a hiring manager. Then after that I asked for a W-2 with the employer ID tax number. Then he became evasive. Then said I needed to start answering all his questions fast. Then wanted personal info even though I said I needed proof this was all legal. He began copy and pasting me statements from green growth brands website. So I stopped talking to him. It did not seem right.
