Type of a scam Online Purchase
Great Dane puppies now is a website that I found via search in google. The seller contacted me twice via phone and then text. He told me it would be 650.00 to have the puppy sent from Virginia to MA and that payment could only be done via Walmart person to person. When I got a call from Walmart compliance asking if I knew the person selling the dogs I told them no. They had stopped payment and wouldn’t give it to the seller. I contacted the seller and he then asked me to cancel the payment to him and send to a friend in MD. He agreed to be paid half up front and the remaining balance after delivery. Walmart flagged him, called me and I was able to get my money back. Unfortunately 4 other buyers had paid in full and because of the method of payment they are unable to recover it.
