Female caller acted as our granddaughter. She was sick and then in an accident. She cried telling us she hurt the other driver. She was at fault…texting while driving. She was arrested and we were her only phone call. She asked if we could help. She needed $9000 bond posted until she had to appear in court in two months. Also there was a gag order on her case…we couldn’t tell anyone. Lots of red flags for us. I asked what courthouse, what city, etc. and she couldn’t tell us except in generalities. I challenged the legitimacy of the call and she hung up.

Claiming to be grandaugther involved in car accident in Japan saying money need to be sent so not have to go to jail for 6 weeks we need to go to Walmart to get 3 different gift cards and put up to $ 5.000 different amount on the cards. And when they call back give them the card numbers and they will have a check sent to the house . They had address people speaking like grandaugther.allmost fell for it
