Type of a scam Family/Friend Emergency
Received a phone call from someone pretending to be her grandson. They called her grandma and said that they had gotten in a car accident and broken nose and a cut on their lip. Then he stated that he was worried for the other person as she was pregnant and in the hospital. The person on the other line he said he was at the court house and then said that he could give her his case number if she had a pen and paper. She did not recognize his voice so she started to ask him questions. IE. What is your dads name? What is your moms name? In between the person on the other line kept asking if everything was alright. She thinks that they were going to ask for money but she hung up on him before it could happen.
