Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
This scammer lures people in through a job posting on governmentjobs.com for “Marketing Assistant”. The job posting states that you will make $*** a week for advertising decals on your vehicle for FedEx. Once you send an email stating your interest, he sends a fraudulent check to your home address for you to deposit and then asks you to withdraw a certain amount to send to a “specialist” to place the decals on your car. He will ask you to send the money through Western Union and will not accept it any other way.
