Type of a scam Government Grant
I was called by a rep named Nancy and then transferred to her manager Chris Anderson to let me know I was eligible to receive $9000 grant for paying my taxes on time and being in good credit standing. I was also asked to confirm my information which they had on file. They provided me with an application number and told me they could transfer the money via western Union or directly into my account, however with Western Union I would have to pay $200 which the government would not cover and proceeded to provided me with a tracking number. He asked again if I was sure I didn’t want it in my account and I told him I was not providing any personal information. I contacted Western Union since I thought this was fishy and they said the tracking number was invalid and hoped I didn’t provide them with any personal information. THIS IS A SCAM TO GET MONEY AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION!!!!!
