I got a phone call from a woman that called me – she had my name. She said she was a governmental agency and that they had a car in their posession with my name registered to it and the car was found with cocaine in it. She said she would help me pay to avoid them going to my home. Her name was Sherry Lee and her number was 8333557887. She transferred me to Ian Bishop and his number is 5155999102. He said if I didn’t then they would freeze my accounts. He told me I’d have to make payment through gift card and told me I cannot speak to anyone about this because of the severity of the situation. I agreed and went to different stores to do gift cards. I did so many and gave him all numbers about $12,000 worth. He called again for more, I went to Publix and as I ask for it the customer service said don’t do it it’s a scam. I went home and called the police. The police came to my home and the man Ian Bishop called – the police took the call and said they were calling the wrong number this is the police. The person hung up and didn’t call me back. Police told me to report to BBB.
