Type of a scam Government Grant
I received a call saying to call a number to collect a amount of money which the government is giving me as a grant. I called the number and asked for the person who I was told to ask for.(Stephanie Williams) I said to them that I have a Agency listening in for my concerns and they immediately hung up. The numbers I was given are; 1 – 206-472-6038 that I was to call as soon as possible. Where I was given another number to call to collect 646-357-1935. This is where I was to ask for Stephanie Williams. I was told to call back in 5 minutes. She was with a client. I call back in 5 and first was told that she was gone. I said that he had just told me to call back. He then asked was I calling for the grant. I said I was. He said she was busy but he would handle it. I said okay and that we would be recorded by an agency. The line went dead. I tried calling back and the call won’t go through. It need to be checked
