Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I was sent a message who I thought was a family member yesterday 1/15/19 and said I was offered a Govt Grant Offer and don’t have to pay it back. Sent me the link.Today ( 1/16/19 ) when I clicked on it was Hillary Clinton’s Picture with someone else name ( Kim Ann Susan ). So the conversation out friendly and the more I got into the conversation things became strange. This person wanted me to pick out a amount and pay the Clearence Fee to send me the check and the check would be sent Federal Express. So I picked out the amount along with my name and address. Now this person wanted me to all of sudden to get a loan or how long till you get your income tax return and send the money. So each amount list there was a fee. Mine was 1000 for a $ 30,000 check. I didn’t give any credit cards or banking info. This message was also sent to mom tonight 1/16/19 @ the same time I was reading it to her. Then I realized it was a scam, because this person kept texting asking when I was going to get the money to them.
