Type of a scam Credit Cards
I opened an account with Google ads because I was offered a free promo. To open an account I was obliged to add my credit card on file even though no charges would be charged for my free promo. After a couple weeks I signed into my account to take off the credit card number that was on file. IMPOSSIBLE! The system doesn’t allow it!!! After several attempts to contact them I finally was able to speak to an agent and demanded my credit card be taken off my account. He said it couldn’t. I told him I was furious and told him I will not ever authorize any charges on my credit card!!
I then proceeded to go to my bank and inform them I had to change my card because of this situation.
I have now received an email that they are sending my bill to collections for the amount owing ( which like I said I have NEVER authorized them to charge my credit card and never even used the service with the free promo) . I’ve looked on line and many others have been scammed by Google Adwords and Google Adsense.
I thought it would be wise to report this.
