Type of a scam Tech Support

Playing MSN game, my game went off, screen turned red, said to call this number. Without thinking to call Norton instead, I called. They told me I had clampii virus, allowed access to my computer to show me the virus. They could remove it, give me Webroot virus protection which include ID theft and anti-hacking. Lifetime was $500.00 which I opted for. While they were working on my computer, I called the number several times and checked to see that Webroot was a valid virus protection program. They gave me documents with lifetime warranty and another with all the protection they offered and a customer ID number. They put their tech support number at bottom of my home page. This was March 8, 2017. I called several times and received tech support. When I called later, the phone rang and hung up. Looked up Webroot online and saw that Best Buy Geek Squad is the tech support. Found out I was listed as a customer since January 2013 instead of March 2017. That showed the reason for the $500.00 I paid. The annual renewal fee is $99.99. I am contacting Best Buy Billing to let them know they were hacked and thanks to your rep am seeing if my credit card will refund the money. Thank you so very much for all your help!! You are a valuable community service!
