My wife received a letter postmarked from Canada (5008581) with a check for $7,850.00. A letter said that she won the sum of US $88,000.00. The enclosed cheque will be deducted from your winnings. You are advised to contact your claims agent, George Willie 1-647-673-4108. The letter was signed by Jay Field. The check was routing was 0011047 :064204347: 183679469. The business name on the check was System Transport, Inc. P.O. Box 3456 Spokane WA 99220. I looked up that business on the internet and found that it was a trucking firm established in 1994. I called their phone number and they said that this was a scam. We did not call the number in the letter.
