Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

An individual with a foreign accent called me from an Unknown number on my cell phone and identified himself as James Anderson, asked me my age and told me that I had won $65 million dollars and a 2017 Mercedes car tax-free. He said I won because I had shopped at WalMart. My car was supposed to be delivered today by UPS and that in order to get the money, I needed to go to Walgreens today and get a "registration card" for the IRS which turns out is actually an Amazon gift card for $399. When I told him I could not afford to purchase a card for that amount, he told me to have a blessed day and hung up.

When I told him I thought it was a scam and that I didn’t believe him, he said everything he could to convince me that it was legitimate. He told me that I was chosen out of 65,000 South Dakotans to win this award. He also asked me if had gotten anything in the mail about it over the past 2 1/2 weeks to which I told him I had not. He said that happens sometimes. He also said that they give money on behalf of those who shop at KMart, CVS, Dollar General and other store names that I don’t remember.
