Global Technologies originating # ***, left me a voice mail on my cell that my credit card on file with them had been charged $300 for a year service and to call *** for a refund. I called the number to verify they had not charged me for a service and they said it was Thabo Computer protection renewal that I had gotten through Geek Squad a year ago and when I told them I didn’t have that service they said they would refund my card but would have to connect to my pc and remove the protection software. Told them I needed to verify with Geek Squad and hung up. Called Geek Squad and they verified it was a scam.

A group has been calling my grandparents age 93 and 90, telling them their computer is infected. Wants credit card info and info on computer… Caller was clearly from the Middle East, but when I asked his name he said "David Wilson"… The number he gave me to call him back was 1 (800) 594 0072 Global technologies, the number he called from was (210) 249-0540.
