Type of a scam Tech Support
Received a call to offer to get a refund back from a tech support company(Global PC Support) that I had purchased back in March of 2016. Caller, Ricky, said he was from the ScamPulse.com refund support team. But I had to access my computer to get the needed form which he would help me fill out. Number on my phone was 210-761-8966 and he knew my name. I did not not access my computer, but told him I would check on this Global PC Support and get back to him. Instead, I went on line to the ScamPulse.com site and found a scam alert. So beware.

received a call last week stating i needed to renew my computer coverage support or they would take $1000 out of my account. I got 2 or 3 more calls and they were very aggressive about it. I hung up on them. I just received a call 10 minutes.

So they called, and were going on about our Contract for Computer was expiring and we needed to renew.
The Cost $1000, and if we didn’t it would cost $1500 to restart services.
I told my elderly mother it sounded like a scam, and to delete the message.
I came back into the house 5 minutes later and she’s on the phone with them, I said what are you doing.
I told the guy it sounded like a scam and hung up.
So the 805-232-5565 number she called and got through, whether it was rerouted or not don’t know.
Thanks

grocerty store and get 3 $100 wire transfer and fill out a form that is online. I said I no and that I would contact
an attorney. He said they would go ahead charge my acct. I asked which acct and he said he was not allowed
to give acct. no. I do not have said support program on my MAC.
