The scammer hacked into my grandfathers account and asked me if I had heard about GLOBAL GRANT FUNDS. He then continued to tell me how he had received $25,000 and how I really should jump on it. I looked into it and told my grandpa I didn’t think that it was what he said it was. He then told me that I do qualify because my name was in the beneficiary list that he received in the mail. I kept trying to nicely decline because I though it was my grandpa but he was very persistent and kept asking if he could send me the number of his lawyer so I could get money too. After a few days I found online that this could be a scam, so I called my grandpa and he had not been messaging me at all. That’s how I knew for sure his account had been hacked.

I recieved a message from a previous employer telling me he had gotten a grant and that I should apply for it. I contacted the person he told me and they told me I was approved for a grant and to pay the fee of 2750 and they would sned me my grant money overnight as soon as they got there fees. Now after they recieved there fees they are claiming that the IRS has my money and I need to pay the taxes and other fees to get it another 11,500.
