Boyfriend got online to look up recipe. Received a warning from Windows in form of new browser saying that computer security was compromised and to call number shown. Wanted us to pay for technical fix for $160. Told guy I didn’t have the money and hung up. Boyfriend gave me his credit card to use so I called back and this time it was going to cost almost $300. I hung up. Shut down computer in fear of losing all use of it or the chance of identity theft. Few days later tried calling the number back, and rang once and recording said "goodbye". Knew then it was a scam and am so glad I didn’t give card info.
