I was first contacted by a gentleman with an Pakistani like accent on the second phone number listed and advised my computer repair services contract I had bought two years ago had expired and I needed to pay $399 to keep it current. The second call was from a lady this time with a like accent that told me the same story from the first number listed but she wanted$1500. Both calls were on 23Jul19 at 1400 and 1707 respectively. I hung up on both.

While on my computer a window popped up with an alarm warning me not to touch the computer or all memory would be lost. It said to call a phone number immediately. It had what looked like an Apple logo. So I called & a message said the line was busy. I waited 40 minutes & called again. The person told me that my computer had a virus and he could fix it immediately. He then sent me to another website. Can’t remember the name. He said he

fixed my computer & I owe him $159 for the service. He wanted my credit card number which I refused to give. I told him I’d send a check. But when I was going to the site he told me to go to, my computer was working fine.

I did make out a check to send to him but I decided to call my service provider & check my computer with them. They said there was nothing wrong with it. I looked up the company at the address I was given & there wasn’t any business by the name of Global Computer Services there. So I didn’t send the check and now he has been calling & harassing me for payment.
