Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was on the website rover which has my personal phone number and she texted me and asked if I would watch her dog and asked if she could pay me using a check instead of the rover app, I said that was fine and she said she would send the check ahead of time. The check was for $1800 more than it was supposed to be and obviously fake. She kept texting me saying I need to deposit it now which I did not. However she does have my personal address.
