Type of a scam Employment
Position for administrative/executive assistant posted on job board, I applied and was contacted and offered an at home position. Contact at company wanted me to do a little research for her and also register her for a conference. She sent me a check to pay me and register her for said conference. The business address is in Arizona, the mailed check came from Cypress, TX and the cashiers check is from a bank in Florida. I did not deposit the check and broke contact with the scammer.
