I ordered a gift card for someone on Jan. 29th of this year and I checked tracking and it says it has never even shipped and it has been two weeks. Apparently this is a scam I fell for. I am asking to be refunded the money that I paid for this card. Kendrea White

I bought a $75 gift card for a birthday present. When they took the printed gift reciept to the place to spend the money. The place said that the giftly gift card was a scam and they do not affiliate with giftly gift cards.

When I Google searched my business (Confluent Touch) one of the first things to pop up was this giftly.com saying they sell gift cards for my business. They don’t. Never heard of them. And I want them to stop immediately.

They said I have been compromised, but I never heard of them or received any gift via them. They want me to respond digitally or via their 800 number, which would allow them to sell my phone number or mine my contact list. Please warn others of this phishing scam. I am a former arbitrator for BBB. Here is what they sent today by mass mailing:

Your online gift page was accessed using a link from an email that we sent to this email address. We believe this means that a third party may have access to your email account and may be trying to steal your online purchases and/or e-gifts.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

This site allows online e gift cards, which can be transferred to a debit or credit card by the receiver. Initially it seemed a great avenue. But after a month or so, the funds never became available, although their site showed the transaction was complete. The only way to contact them was via an online form. No address or phone contact info could be found. They finally answered via the online form, and promised to refund more than $1000 already processed. Still monitoring to see if the funds are credited back to my credit card account. The charges have already been disputed to my credit card company, and removed from my bill. Now it remains to be seen if giftly follows up on their promise of a refund.
