This website came up when I googled "NC DOT car registration renewal." I thought I was paying my car taxes. Once they had my debit card, two days later I found charges of $2.99 and $19.99 for a bogus ‘road map download’. I have emailed their [email protected], and when they reply, their email address is significantly different. They refuse to acknowledge that they have my debit card and have charged twice, even though their merchant ID is on my checking account statement.
