At the first of the year I was looking for a German Shepherd puppy and found a website on facebook (GERMAN SHEPHARD PUPPIES). I inquired on the price of a female. They messaged and told me 750 and that included delivery. Well, i said, let me think about it. They said ok. So at that point they didn’t push so i thought it was legit. I went back a few days later and asked if they still had the female and how was the puppy delivered. They went into telling me the puppy would be delivered to my doorstep and they only had one female and they were located in Chicago, Il. They said i could put a deposit and pay monthly, but once the deposit was paid she would be on her way. Well, stupid me trusting too easily, paid 250 deposit and requested a picture. He sent me a video (attached). They sent me a tracking form to keep track of the delivery (http://paragoncargologistics.com). She was suppose to be delivered yesterday at 5:30, but in the meantime i get a request to pay $300 refundable on delivery for some kind of insurance, once again stupid me paid it. Then about an hour later i get a request for another 200. I did not pay this and told them to forget it and give me back my money. Well as expected he says nonrefundable. Lots more communication went on but without any compassion from them. Some were nasty. I am out 600 dollars.
The monies were requested thru Zelle. I have filed a claim with my bank, but i know i won’t see that money again but i don’t want these [censored] to do this again and how many others are out there that has already lost money.
I reported to police and it was investigated. The Investigator said if anything came from the felony fraud he would let me know.
