Type of a scam Phishing
They called many times over several days asking for a name of a person who had this phone number many years ago. They said they were lawyers from CA trying to settle land claim. I finally answered the call after many phone messages left to tell them they had the wrong number. Then I hung up. They called back and said, "maam" at which I point I answered "yes" and then they hung up.
