Type of a scam Employment
I received a text from a number regarding a job opportunity for General Motors . The name came in as a Mrs.SEAN DIAMONDS. When I responded I asked if I can get a confirmation email . The email seemed fake there was no logo or a "REAL NAME" Then I was asked to add the email address provided [email protected] on Google hangouts for a interview with a code . I added and A person by the name Dinkins Donaldson claimed to be a HR MANAGER at General Motors and wanted to proceed to conduct a interview via Hangouts. I proceeded with the "interview " I was asked interview questions about working from home previous experience and if I had a clear criminal record ..after 3rd question I was told to hold on while my responses were sent over to Headquarters Dept. which after he said I immediately "Hired " within 5 minutes. However, I did not give any information aside from my address. Then he mentioned that he would send me a check to purchase in home equipment to purchase for the job . and that I would receive a check on Thursday and I could start working Monday . I asked in the message if I could call him and clarify he said the next morning because he was going to email me the employment documents. Via email
