Received a Facebook invitation from someone requesting to contact us by email. The email came from Rose Patrick [email protected] who indicated that she was a widow with no heirs and wanted to give us 5.5 million from a fixed deposit account in Australia. She provided us with bank account information and an Australian Barrister named Shawn Dawson. Dawson then emailed forged affidavits giving us right’s to the funds and contacted the bank to tell them to give us access to the account. The bank impersonated G&C Mutual Bank of Australia and the bank CRO by using a fake website mutualbankplc.com. The bank emailed requesting us to send over tax fees to transfer the money out of the account so we are reporting the scam
