Offered a certified check of $2.5 million, asked for $2000 to get me a receipt so he could deliver the check to me – had an accent that I had some trouble understanding some of what he was saying and there was some background noise. I hung up several times and was called back every time. Very insistent! Even called next day, when I had quit answering the phone that day, 12/29. Received another call on same thing 1/11, but I didn’t have the patience to deal with him & I hung up early, this call did ask for the name of my bank, and mentioned a credit card &/or debit card could be used to get the receipt for the check. These other calls gave names of Mike Jockson and Dan Steeler.
