Hello, I would like to report the conterfeit recruiters that sought to obtain my bank account number. The Fraudulent HR manager said that they worked for Galderma Laboratorie, a well established pharmeutical company owned by Nestle. The fake recruiter sent a email informing me thet i was eligible/approved for an interview. They requested that I schedule an interview with them on Google Hangout. i downloaded the app and did a written interview with a fake manager the next day. 20 minutes into the dialogue, I was offered the job. They said the work from home job paid $30 and the company would send a $3,000 check in a couple of days to pay for a laptop and specific software to be only purchased at authorized dealers. He said they are sending the check to see if I can be trusted (which was super fishy, for a big company). Not sure why I didn’t identify the potential fraud then, but i identified the fraudulent activity after they expressed sent me a cashier’s check for $4,900. The cashiers check had a reputable bank, but I knew not to take it to the bank. The cover letter that came with the check did not have a company letterhead, it did not contain the names of HR recruiter or the HR manager that I communicated with and it had two unreasonable requests. The letter said to send an email to [email protected], then send a copy of my deposit slip, so that they can release the funds.They probably would have asked me to go ahead and start making purchases, while the funds were held up. I’m sure people have fell for this scam and used their own money, expecting the bogus check to clear. I hope the fradulent team can be banned from Google and Indeed. I read today that these scam artists use many different company names.
