Type of a scam COVID-19
I received an email on my school email account from someone who claimed to be a professor at another school. He said he was wealthy and was sending deserving students $300 a week for financial help due to Covid -19. I responded to the email and "applied". He mailed me a check for $3000 telling me to cash it, keep $500 and send the rest back to him so he could provide more students with funds. I called the ScamPulse.com and was told this was a scam. I will tear up the check.
