Today’s email was a supposed receipt for the program services and products purchased telling me to keep a copy of the email for my records. It gave my email address, a customer #, an order #, and the date and time of purchase. I supposedly ordered 2015 Federal tax return, Louisiana state tax return, and eCheck convenience fee. Total amount paid 272.19 (USD) using a checking account with a phony number. "Charges will appear on your bank statement as: TAXHAWK INC Purchasing a product or service does not automaticaly e-file your return. Make sure you have finished the filing process and received confirmation that your tax return has been filed." The email came for Carroll Donnelly <[email protected]> Subject: Order Also came with an attachement (which I did not open) 15KB ceding – antithetic.zip "Receipt for Payment Thank you for filing your taxes with FreeTaxUSA!
