Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
A Check in the amount of $1850.00 was received via UPS today. The check is from Foundation Title LLC 65 Madison Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07960. On the envelope the return address is DB RVPT – COLORS DRESS DIV. OF Address is 150 Anderson AVE, Moonachie NJ 07074. The phone number on the envelope is (201) 691-5012. when we called it, it was not a legitimate number. I looked up Foundation Title llc online and called them to ask about the check. The woman said it was a scam and could we mail the check back to them. The address she gave is *** *** *** ** ***.
Please check into this. I would hate for an elderly person to get one of these checks and deposit it. Thank You
