Type of a scam Charity
Call asking for $30.00 or $50.00 for Found American Vets. They were every fast and transferred me to person to get my credit card. I called back for info on where this money was going and how much the vets get. There phone was full, couldn’t leave message or talk to anyone. Called credit card company 1 hour after the donation to cancel and was told that I had to wait to appear on bill, to call Charity, I called everyday for a week, several times, called# on credit card for the charity and it’s been disconnected. Credit card is checking on complaint. I’M on the Do Not Call List, that’s a laugh, I get at least 20-30 calls with 800 or no names on my phone a day between Nov-Dec from charity, really how much money do these companies think a person can donate, NEVER again will I answer or donate on the phone.
