Type of a scam Online Purchase

I was just scammed out of $300. And I would like to make sure that this person cannot scam anyone else out of their money.

I have been looking for a maine [censored] cat for some time. They are expensive and usually run around 600-700. This place I found yesterday had a 50% off sale because they had 8 kittens and were expecting another litter soon and needed them sold. I never should have fallen for this and that is my embarrassment but I want to make sure he can’t get money from other people.

I found a website forevermainecoonsf5.com and found a kitten I wanted to purchase. I filled on the online form and received an email from [email protected] and exchanged emails with

He wanted the money sent western union, which did set up a flag to me and I then questioned him about this being a scam etc.. he assured me it wasn’t and that he needed the money this way. Of course a lot of breeders do this from their homes etc, but I fell for it. I sent the money to be delivered the next day and we emailed about getting together Monday morning to arrange shipping. Of course now that person has disappeared. The phone number doesn’t work. The money had already been picked up when I contacted western union, so I filed a fraud claim. I DO NOT WANT HIM TO GET AWAY WITH THIS AGAIN.
