Type of a scam Employment
I received an email stating they found my resume and would like to have an online interview. After several questions about my resume, I was told they would make a decision the same day. I was told I got the job and I would be given the equipment for the stay at home position. I was sent several email with the logo and tasks that I need to complete. With in a couple of days I received a cashier’s check and instructions on to deposit right away and how the funds are to be used. Before I deposited the amount I called the bank the check was from to ask if the check was valid. The bank informed me the check was fraud and to contact the local police. I contacted the person I was emailing with and advise them of my findings. I have yet to received any word on why the check was fraud.
