Type of a scam Government Grant
An Imposter uses Instagram profiles to elicit people to make an easy $5000-$10,000 by providing bank information. They want to know if you bank with USAA, Chase, or Wellsfargo and how long you have banked with the institutions. Then they say they will wire you 10,000 and you just need to pay them $2500. When asked why I was told that they receive government grants then the third party (us) is sent that grant and then we both get a cut. I asked why do they need a third party if they are a NGO? Then he hung up on me. I researched the actual non profit and the representative told me they have been scamming people for over 3 years using their NGO name. What a shame!
