Type of a scam Utility
We received 2 phone calls on 2 seperate phone lines asking for who handles the bills, saying our electricity was Past Due and would be shut off today unless paid to date. ID on phone says First Energy, but it is not. They give no ID or confirmation number. If you call First Energy directly, you find out you are not past due or selected for disconnect. If you look on line by the phone number, they are not true web sites. If you tell them there is no one there to help them they hang up.
