Type of a scam Phishing
Two numbers – caller named herself as Shirley Danes calling in regards to my "federal student loan" – which is nonexistent. As I didn’t recognise the out of state (Alabama) number, she left a voicemail, insisting I call back to discuss changes to my repayment options. The number she left to all back was an 866 number. Even left a reference number regarding my account. No name of the company, just "federal student loan". Sketchy stuff!
