Type of a scam Government Grant
Contacted me on instant messaging claiming to be my cousin. Saying she had gotten 100,000 dollars thru a federal grant that was intended to help older americans with some type of disability, ie. hard of hearing, blind etc. I was to forward 1500 dollars for taxes owed on the money won. Then within four hours I was to receive the money thru a delivery company. The message also said that my cousin had received the money taken it to the bank and her banker said it was legit. I then called my cousin asking about this and she told me that it must be a scam because this was the first she had heard about it.
